Annual Art Show
After the yearlong process of making work, students designed their own gallery spaces where they presented their finished work. They are responsible for all aspects of mounting their show, promoting it to the public, and hosting it during visitation hours. It’s truly a taste of what artists have to do to promote and sell their work.
In addition to the public exhibit, IB students also hosted the show for their peers during the school day who visited along with their teachers. Many teachers used the art viewing experience as a classroom activity to facilitate discussion or writing prompts.
